Digital Marketing Skills Canada (DMSC) launched in 2024 to address a key gap in Canada’s economy: high-growth sectors were scaling fast, but many professionals lacked access to modern marketing training.
As of March 2026, The DMSC consortium supported more than 2000 mid-career Canadians in building in-demand skills. As the program evolved, it sharpened its focus to support over 500 SMEs in tariff-impacted sectors, helping them up-skill marketing teams, build critical AI capabilities, and adopt digital first growth strategies.
